Partly-printed DS, signed “Fred'k Douglass,” folded to 3.5 x 8.5, April 1, 1886. Deed for a real estate transaction between Allen C. Clark and Mary E. Stickney, boldly signed on the docketing panel in ink by Frederick Douglass as recorder of deeds in the District of Columbia. In very good to fine condition, with edge toning, and splitting and separations to the folds which does not affect the Douglass panel.
