Desirable program for the "Harrodsburg Bicentennial Celebration," two pages, 5.5 x 8.5, held at Old Fort Harrod State Park in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, on June 16, 1974, signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint by Neil Armstrong. The text inside honors James Harrod and his men who helped explore and settle the area west of the Allegheny Mountains, and lists Armstrong as a speaker in the program of ceremonies. In very fine condition, with a stray ink mark to the right side, no doubt made by Armstrong. Accompanied by two original vintage color glossy candid photographs of the event, both showing Armstrong on the dais.
