Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Jeff Lowe (of Tiger King fame), explaining the history of his Prince memorabilia and wardrobe collection, in part: "In 2007 I purchased a very large collection of items that belonged to the musician Prince, from his ex wife Mayte Garcia. And in 2008 and 2009, I purchased an enormous collection of Prince clothing and accessories from Paul Pudlitzke, who ran Prince's Glam Slam night clubs…[The] black and gold sequined shirt was owned and worn by Prince."
