As governor of Ohio, William McKinley appoints Amzi McGill "to be a Notary Public for the County of Hamilton for the Term of Three Years." Signed prominently at the conclusion by Governor McKinley and countersigned by Samuel M. Taylor as secretary of state. The foil seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In fine condition, with a few small stains.
