Early DS, signed “Dean Crocetti, Dean Martin,” and "Jerry Levitch, Jerry Lewis," one page, 8.5 x 11, July 17, 1950. Document submitted to Wallis-Hazen, Inc., amending their existing employment agreement to include the address of their new agency, MCA Artists, Ltd., for "the service upon us of any and all notices which you are required or may desire to serve upon us in connection with said agreement." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, both signing with their legal and stage names. In fine condition, with minor paper loss to the upper left corner. The Martin and Lewis comedy duo had made their TV debut on June 20, 1948, followed by an appearance on Welcome Aboard on October 3, 1948, and by a guest stint on Texaco Star Theater in 1949. The two began their film careers with Paramount Pictures as ensemble players in 1949—appearing in My Friend Irma (1949) and its sequel My Friend Irma Goes West (1950)—followed by their own series of fourteen new movies released between 1950 and 1956. A very desirable document from early in their careers, boasting their uncommon legal names.
