Handwritten letter from "Windsor," in part: "On returning to Windsor that last Evening I received the enclosed the behaviour of the Clergymen was so much in his favour that I could not refrain communicating it to the Lord Chancellor…Should the Lord Chancellor be engaged I cannot wish to interfere but hope if I can hereafter find him observing of recommendation that He may obtain some future small living."
