Uncommon LS signed “M. A. Henson,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, November 2, 1936. Letter to Dr. Irving O. Thomas, referring to fellow polar explorer Donald Baxter MacMillan. In part: "Returned to the city to-day from a two weeks vacation and found your letter awaiting me. I will be very pleased to autograph McMillan's book for you, as I consider him one of my best friends." Impressively cloth-matted and framed with a portrait and plaque to an overall size of 24.25 x 21.25. In fine condition.
