Impressively large display featuring seven Revolutionary War-era State of Connecticut financial documents, issued between 1777 and 1793, signed in ink by various state officials, including: a 1777 pay order for £500 to Captain Ichabod Hinckley for "inlisting his own company, in the Continental Battalion," signed in ink by Thomas Seymour; a 1783 receipt for £244.2.6 to Continental Army surgeon Dr. Philip Turner, endorsed in ink by Turner; a 1783 receipt for £23.8 to Yorktown veteran Amos Parker, endorsed in ink by Parker; a 1789 interest certificate for ten shillings, signed in ink by Oliver Wolcott, Jr.; a 1790 Treasury Office transfer certificate, signed in ink by Jedediah Huntington; a 1793 United States Loan-Office certificate signed in ink by William Imlay; and a 1796 interest certificate signed in ink by John Porter.
