Rodney, in part: "I have the honor to enclose for your consideration, a letter from the Comptroller of the Treasury, in relation to a claim against the United States by the heirs of Robert H. Harrison, deceased, and to request that you will favor me with your opinion thereon." Gorgeously cloth-matted and framed with an engraved portrait and biographical plaque to an overall size of 22.5 x 24.75. In fine condition, with scattered light dampstaining.
