Also I shall be awfully glad to see you both”; a vintage matte-finish 6 x 9 full-length portrait photo of Eleanor Roosevelt by the Harris & Ewing studio, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Mrs. Carey Wilcox, with good wishes, Eleanor Roosevelt”; and an ALS from Sara Roosevelt, signed “Sara D. Roosevelt,” penned in black ink on an off-white 5 x 3 card, February 27, 1940, addressed to Viola May Lashley, in full: “I like so many good sentiments that I really cannot think of any one sentiment.” The Sara Roosevelt letter, which is affixed to a slightly larger sheet, is accompanied by its original mailing envelope.
