Limited edition embroidered NASA patch carried to the South Pole by members of the Planetary Studies Foundation, measures 3.5˝ in diameter, affixed to its 8.5 x 11 certificate of authenticity numbered “032,” which is signed below by NASA astronauts James Lovell and Owen Garriott, and by Expedition Leader Paul P. Sipiera. The certificate reads: “This Expedition patch, one of only 200, was carried to the South Pole by members of the Planetary Studies Foundation on January 15th/16th, 2000 to commemorate our Antarctica 2000 Expedition.” In very fine condition.
