Description

Archive of over 550 vintage photographic slides of official NASA images, deriving from the personal collection of NASA engineer Milton J. 'Jack' Neubauer, Jr. The archive contains 11 slide change magazines (Argus Automatic) containing a total of 380 color slides from various Apollo and Gemini missions; eight of the magazines contain slides for Apollo missions 8, 9, and 11 through 17, as well as slides for the Manned Spacecraft Center; and the first three magazines contain flight images from various Gemini missions. The G. P. Slide Company of Houston, Texas produced all Apollo mission color slides.

The archive also includes:

- (2) matching sets of Apollo 11 “Space Color Slides,” both containing a total of 68 slides for ‘Series A’ through ‘Series R,’ which consists of slides 388 through 455; both sets are without ‘Series I,’ and one set has been removed from their original sleeves, which are included.
- (5) Apollo 13 ‘Colors Slides’ sleeves for Series E-H and J, containing slides 540-555 and 556-559
- (2) Apollo 17 ‘Space Color Slides’ sleeves, Series K and N, containing slides 796-799 and 808-811
- (2) matching sets of NASA ‘Manned Spacecraft Center’ Series B slides
- (85) additional color slides for various Gemini missions
- a set of 20 Apollo 17 mission images produced by Finley-Holiday Films
- a vintage AMC Automatic VII Model 498 movie projector
- a vintage TDC Vivid Show Pak ‘300’ slide projector

In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a vintage carrying case.
