Original laminated green 2.5 x 4.25 ‘Production Staff’ backstage pass for the US Festival, held at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, California, between September 3 and 5, 1982, issued to acclaimed audio engineer “Bruce Jackson” as part of the “Claire Bros.” In fine condition. The first US Festival featured headlining acts like Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, The Police, Talking Heads, The B-52s, and The Ramones.
In addition to working the US Festival, Jackson mixed concert sound for some of music’s biggest and most recognizable names, including Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart and the Faces, Barry White, Jefferson Airplane, Ozzy Osbourne, Carly Simon, Three Dog Night, the Jackson 5, Cat Stevens, Glen Campbell, Art Garfunkel, Procol Harum, and Lou Reed.
