Scarce peach-colored 6 x 3.5 photo pass issued for the press conference affiliated with the Beatles concert at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto on August 17, 1965, imprinted with "Conditions for Admission," including: "Television and radio stations can tape segments of press conference for news screening and broadcasting. No movie pictures of any kind allowed at performances. No sound records of any kind allowed during performances. No one under 18 admitted to press conference. No autographs to be requested of Beatles at press conference. No one to go backstage or to the Beatles' dressing room at any time." The pass is stamped as "No. 81," signed along the edge in ink by Maple Leafs PR director Stan Obodiac, and the reverse is stamped "Photo." Includes the original form letter from the Maple Leaf Gardens publicity department, in part: "Welcome to the second annual press conference for the Beatles. Maple Leaf Gardens is the only place in Canada which is hosting the Beatles on this second tour of North America. The pass enclosed is your admittance to the press conference…All passes are numbered, accounted for and must be signed by Stan Obodiac." In very good condition, with moderate to heavy overall creasing.
