In part: "The course of business at this circuit will undoubtedly station me here...It will therefore be wholly out of my power to attend to the cause of Sarah Post at Poughkeepsie, where the circuit will commence on Monday with Yates—having Platt to take his leisure (which he does) to finish here...I recommend very strongly that you go up personally." Addressed on the integral leaf in Burr's hand. In very good to fine condition, with overall mottled toning, affecting only appearance.
