(Walt Disney Studios, 1959) Fascinating group lot of six original storyboard drawings for Sleeping Beauty, depicting Briar Rose with Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather at the start of scene seven: when the three good fairies ask Briar Rose to go pick berries so they can make her a dress for her sixteenth birthday. Each storyboard is accomplished in graphite and crayon on artist sheets ranging in size from 5.75 x 2.75 to 13.75 x 3.25. The drawings are affixed in order to their original 15 x 11.75 storyboard mount, which bears pencil notations for dialogue and scene position above and below each sheet. Double-matted to an overall size of 20 x 16.75. In fine condition.
