(Iwerks Studio, 1931) Original production drawing of Flip the Frog by Ub Iwerks from the short film Spooks, which depicts Flip holding a bone in a half-length pose. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9.5 animation paper marked "402" in the lower right corner. Image measures 3.75 x 3.25. In fine condition, with vertical fold and light toning. Iwerks was a pioneering animator and early partner of Walt Disney, with whom he co-created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse.
