Two items: a vintage matte-finish 7 x 9 close-up photo of the popular actress, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Jane, from Joan Crawford"; and a TLS, one page, 5.5 x 9.25, personal letterhead, July 31, 1954, in part: "I have been swamped with correspondence since I was away so long on tour and then on an extended vacation with the children. I love to hear from everyone so do not mind working far into the night to answer them. I am delighted you found 'Johnny Guitar' to your liking. It was my first western and I must say a real challenge to me. Thank you for all the nice things you said…I still haven't found a story I would like to do for my next picture.
