ALS signed “Geely,” one page, 8.25 x 11.75, October 7, 1960. Handwritten letter to Hollywood hairdresser Sidney Guilaroff, signed with one alias ("Geely") and incorporating another ("Harriet Brown"). In full: "I am in Klosters staying with Mrs. Viertel. I am only hoping it is going to make me stronger to be in mountain air. If you have a terrific desire to see this place, take a day off. I am trying to stay untill the 20th of this month. Then I suppose I must go back to Paris where I left my suitcases and shall then a little later, 'Lord willing,' go to London. I heard of another Hotel but have forgotten the name, that is very nice and not so many known people in London. If you feel like getting in touch with me write to Harriet Brown c/o Salka Viertel Klosters and I will get your letter." Mounted, matted, and framed with the original mailing envelope (addressed in Garbo's own hand) and a portrait to an overall size of 21.5 x 18. In fine condition.
