(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Scarce original character study drawing of Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio, showing the good-hearted cricket during a dangerous underwater sequence with a pair of hungry sea anemones. Accomplished in graphite and pastel on untrimmed 12 x 10 animation paper stamped in the lower right corner, "Return to Character Model Dept." The image measures 11.5 x 4.5. In very good to fine condition, with pin holes and paperclip impressions to upper corners, and a few chips and small tears to edges.
