Bright orange Vietnam-era military-issued U.S. Navy coveralls flight suit, size 38 small, signed prominently on the left chest area in black felt tip, “Gene Cernan (USN), Apollo X – XVII, Gemini IX, Last Man on the Moon, 24 Hrs 11 Min EVA.” Cernan’s leather name patch is affixed to the upper left chest area, and the right chest area bears embroidered Apollo 17 and NASA ‘meatball’ patches. The inner collar retains the original Bauer manufacturing label: “Coveralls, Flying, Men’s, Indian Orange, Spec: Navy Dept. P/D 2-24-59, Contract No. 5904.” In fine condition, with trivial wear.
