Houghton Mifflin & Co.," in part: "Will you be so good as to send me by post a copy of the Atlantic which contains a tale of mine entitled the 'Pension Beaurepas' published some time in the spring of 1879? I forget the exact date of the magazine, but if you will cause this request to be complied with you will greatly oblige." Affixed to a larger sheet and in fine condition.
