Mark Hopkins is considered one of the premier sculptors in the United States today. From tabletop sculptures to monuments, his work is displayed in homes, offices, and public settings around the world. Hopkins’ work reveals his fascination with nearly every conceivable aspect of life: from history, children, sports, music, and religion, to wildlife of the land, sea, and air. His style is so flowing and alive that it has been called ‘bronze in motion,’ an apt description exemplified by this terrifically rugged portrayal of the great Buffalo Bill.
