Coolidge on the 1924 presidential election: "It was a fine victory"

TLS as president, one page, 6.5 x 8, White House letterhead, November 17, 1924. Letter to Frank B. Russell, in full: "Thank you for your note of felicitations on the outcome of the election. You are entitled to reciprocal congratulations on the outcome in Kentucky, which I gladly extend. It was a fine victory, and one of the most gratifying incidents of the campaign's outcome." In very good condition, with trimmed edges, light soiling and edge staining, and several old tape stains to the left edge.
