Impressive 1:100 scale model of the Space Shuttle Challenger with external tank and twin solid rocket boosters by Toys and Models Corporation, measuring 22.5˝ in height with a 9˝ wingspan. The model is constructed of wood, resin, and metal and includes its original wooden 9.5˝ x 9.5˝ x 1˝ presentation base marked “Rockwell International, Space Shuttle, scale 1/100.” The underside bears the Toys and Models label. In very good to fine condition, with overall toning, instances of scuffs and paint cracking, chipping and missing paint around the rudder base (potentially broken off and readhered), and various marks and wear to the base.
