Accomplished in watercolor on untrimmed 7 x 5.75 art paper, the tender scene spotlights the young deer in the lower right corner, with his mother emerging from the verdant cover of the forest. Affixed to its original 11.75 x 9.25 cardstock mount, which bears a "Walt Disney Productions" copyright stamp. The total painted image measures 6 x 4.5, with the lower margin marked with a small "WDP" stamp. In fine condition, with adhesive toning to the upper and lower borders. Accompanied by an Arthur Ackermann & Son auction label and by its original Walt Disney Productions label. A beautiful piece of original concept art from a classic Disney film.
