Uncommon flown fabric flag of the state of Florida, 6 x 4.25, carried into space on the Apollo 9 mission from March 3–13, 1969, signed and flight-certified in black ballpoint, "Flown on Apollo 9, Jim McDivitt." In very good condition, with some tears to the body of the fragile flag. Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from McDivitt, in part: "I certify that this 6"x4.25" Florida Flag was flown in Earth orbit aboard Apollo 9, 3-13 March 1969, and is from my personal collection…The flag is delicate, and the fabric has split near the word 'Great.'" Also includes a full letter of authenticity from Zarelli Space Authentication.
