Description

Well-regarded Russian composer (1865-1936) best known for his lush orchestral works, including nine symphonies and concerti for various instruments. ALS in Russian, signed “A. Glazunov,” penned on the reverse of a 3.5 x 5.5 postal card, September 4, 1930. Handwritten letter to Ivan Grigoryevich, in part (translated): “It was absolutely impossible for me to visit you because my friends Wickler and Chereprin did not leave until yesterday. I hope to see you in Paris.” In fine condition.
