(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production cel of Madame Upanova from the 'Pastoral Symphony' segment of Fantasia, depicting the ostrich ballerina in a wonderful full-length pose. The cel, which measures 5 x 7.5, has been trimmed and applied to an airbrushed background as prepared by Courvoisier Galleries for sale, the upper right corner of which bears a "WDP" stamp. Matted to an overall size of 10 x 13.25, with the reverse bearing a Walt Disney Productions copyright stamp. The original mat is soiled, and cracked at its upper left corner; the background features areas of toned adhesive; and the cel itself is fine, completely unaffected by any flaws.
