Description

Partly-printed vellum DS as governor of Virginia, signed “Jas. Monroe,” one page, 15 x 12.5, October 21, 1802. Governor Monroe grants Daniel Brown a “certain Tract of Parcel of Land containing Twelve acres...in the county of Culpeper.” Signed at the conclusion by James Monroe. The lower left corner retains the original paper seal. In fine condition, with light toning along the folds.
