Bronze-tone commemorative medal issued to help raise funds for the Sapporo 1972 Winter Olympics, 32 mm, 15 gm, with the front featuring an embossed design of a ski jumper, and the reverse bears the emblem of the XI Olympic Winter Games.
Uncommon bronze commemorative ‘calendar’ medal issued by Medallic Arts to aid in the funding of the Lake Placid 1980 Winter Olympics, 76 mm, 295 gm, with the front featuring eight segments depicting scenes from different Olympic winter sport events, surrounding the Lake Placid Olympics logo, and the reverse bearing a calendar panel flanked by two Olympic torches. The edge is marked “1980 MACO Bronze - Sporrong.” Includes its original paper box with information booklet.
