Porcelain medallion issued for the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics. Made by Meissen, 76 mm, 62 gm, with the front featuring an embossed profile of IOC co-founder Pierre de Coubertin with Olympic rings and raised name text, and the reverse engraved “Athen 1896, Munchen 1972,” above the maker mark.
