Austrian writer (1862-1931) best known for his sexually charged plays and stories. His 1926 novella Traumnovelle served as the basis for Eyes Wide Shut, the final film directed by Stanley Kubrick. Four untranslated TLSs in German by Arthur Schnitzler, totaling six pages on four sheets, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, all dated 1918. In overall fine condition, with small tape stains to the top edges.
