I liked you and your enthusiasm was a joy...I am planning to go to the Pearl Islands off the west coast of Panama for two months from June 10th & then hope to go to Bermuda for four months. But even now I am not sure...So under the circumstances it would not be fair to ask you to wait, or put off your other plans...I wish to heaven you were a man, when it would be easier to fit you into impromptu expeditions."
