Montini, Arciv.,” one page, 5.25 x 4, Archbishop of Milan letterhead, May 16, 1955. Letter to Walter Bauer, in full (translated): "I received the image that you sent me and also your second letter. Not having been able to do so before, I thank you now and from the bottom of my heart. I extend my warmest wishes to you and your artistic work." Matted and framed with a small photo to an overall size of 12.25 x 8. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
