Two gift plates presented to the Organizing Committee of the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics: a sterling silver plate, 10″ in diameter, engraved in Spanish in the center, “El Comite Olimpico de Panama al Comite Organizador de La XXa Olimpiada, Sept. 1971,” the plate underside bearing a 935 sterling hallmark; and a silver-plated plate made by Industria Argentina, 9.25″ in diameter, engraved in Spanish in the center, “El Comite Olimpico Argentino al Comite Organizador de los XX Juegos Olimpicos de Munich 1972,” below a small enamel emblem of the Argentina Olympic Committee. The latter includes its original presentation card and display case. In overall fine condition, with a block of toning to the Argentina plate from the card, and instances of scuffing and tarnishing to both.
