Limited edition commemorative set issued for the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics, containing 22 of 24 uncirculated coins, each 15 gm, 32 mm, containing a fine silver content of .625 Troy oz. The front of each coin bears attractive embossed designs related to the XX Olympiad, and the reverse features the coat of arms of Germany in relief. The coins are housed in their original carrying case, 10.5″ x 9″ x 1.5″, marked in gilt on the lid: “Bundesrepublik Deutschland, Olympiad 1972 in Munchen.” In fine condition, with some tarnishing to coins.
