Limited edition commemorative set issued for the Moscow 1980 Summer Olympics, containing a total of 28 uncirculated coins, including 14 five-ruble silver proof coins (32 mm) and 14 10-ruble silver proof coins (38 mm), which contain a fine silver content of 0.4823 and 0.9645 Troy oz., respectively. The front of each coin bears an attractive embossed design related to Olympic events, places, and history, and the reverse of each shows the domination and the State Emblem of the Soviet Union in relief. The coins are housed in their original carrying case, 10.5″ x 9″ x 1.25″, with the top lid bearing the Moscow 1980 logo. In fine condition, with affixed paper and adhesive remnants to top and bottom of the case.
