Vintage matte-finish 7 x 9.25 photo of Fitzgerald as Father Fitzgibbon from the 1944 film Going My Way, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "Chummy, All good wishes, Barry Fitzgerald.” In very good condition, with trimmed edges and scattered creasing. Fitzgerald was nominated for two Academy Awards for this role, winning Best Supporting Actor; he lost the Best Actor award to his co-star in the film, Bing Crosby.
