Vintage glossy 3.25 x 3.5 candid photo of John Lennon that was taken by a fan at Lennon’s Weybridge, Surrey home, ‘Kenwood,’ in the summer of 1967, signed in blue ballpoint. The consignor notes that the photograph was taken (and the autograph collected) by an avid Beatles fan who visited their respective homes on a number of occasions in the late 1960s; the fan recalled that ‘they were pretty relaxed about posing for photographs on their own front doorsteps. The first time one of The Beatles opened their door I nearly fainted.' Reverse bears Ilford watermarks. In fine condition, with poor-to-moderate signature contrast, and a trimmed right edge. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
