Handsome plaque medal given to judges from the Paris 1900 Exposition Universelle Internationale, which played host to that year's Olympics. Silvered bronze, 36 mm x 51 mm, by Oscar Roty. The front features an angel (representing the New Century) taking up a torch from a seated woman, with a Latin legend; the reverse bears a view of Paris surmounted by a wreath of olive trees, inscribed across the top: "Exposition Universelle Internationale de 1900, Paris." Stamped "Bronze" on the edge.
