Small wooden fragment recovered from the wreck site of the RMS Titanic, which lies at a depth of roughly 12,500 feet, about 370 nautical miles south-southeast off the coast of Newfoundland in the Northern Atlantic Ocean. The wood piece, .5″ x .5″ x .5″, includes its certificate of authenticity from White Star Memories, which certifies that “this wood fragment was recovered by the Research & Recovery Dive Team, RMS TITANIC INC. Expedition from the wrecksite of R.M.S. Titanic.”
