Document headed "Minutes of a Meeting of the Board of Directors of Edison Storage Battery Company,” concerning the cancellation of a lease in the Orange Division “for the space on the second floor of Building No. 130, used for restaurant purposes,” and to a price reduction at the Edison Chemical Works Division for “Caustic Soda and Bleaching Powder from Mathieson Alkali Works.” Signed at the conclusion by Charles Edison, Thomas Edison, Stephen Mambert, Harry Miller, J. V. Miller, and J. W. Robinson. In fine condition, with a couple of short edge tears. The Edison Storage Battery Company was organized in New Jersey on May 27, 1901, to develop, manufacture, and sell the alkaline storage battery that Edison had developed, which was used for mining lamps, train lighting and signaling, submarines, and electric vehicles.
