Scarce original color 27.5 x 39 poster for the Rome 1960 Summer Olympics, which depicts a design by Armando Testa of an Olympic pedestal with gold text and victorious figures surmounted by the Capitoline Wolf with nursing Romulus and Remus. The upper portion features the Olympic rings below stylized black text: “Giochi della XVII Olimpiade [Games of the 7th Olympiad].” Printed by I.G.A.P., Milan and Rome. Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with scattered light creases, and tape-repaired tears to the edges.
