Original vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of the Beatles taken by Liverpool-based photographer Graham Spencer, which depicts the band excitedly accepting the Mersey Beat newspaper ‘Poll Winners’ prize from the newspaper’s founder, Bill Harry. The award was presented to the Beatles at 4:00 in the morning, right after their second performance at the Majestic Ballroom in Birkenhead, England, on December 15, 1962. The reverse bears ink annotations and a Graham Spencer press stamp. In very good to fine condition, with a few light marks and creases, and a small scratch to the right side. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
