Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 12.25 x 8.25, July 11, 1823. President Madison grants Michael Kime of Tennessee a parcel "containing Eighty acres of the Lands directed to be sold at Vincennes." Neatly signed at the conclusion by President Madison and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In fine condition, with trimmed edges, including a small rectangular area cut from the upper left corner.
