Terrific assortment of four items from Prince’s famed Glam Slam nightclub:
Extraordinarily rare unused “Glam Slam Complimentary Drink Ticket,” 2.75 x 1.75, numbered “004,” with gold text against a black background that features the Glam Slam logo and street address; this card was one of a limited amount exclusively given out to the ‘upstairs’ VIP guests on the opening night of Prince's new nightclub; this is perhaps the only existing ‘drink ticket’ from that memorable night.
Used black-and-gold Glam Slam matchbook, 2 x 2, with 23 matches and the inside cover annotated with a name and phone number.
Ticket stub and a copied setlist from Prince's first concert performance at the Glam Slam nightclub on January 6, 1991: the ticket stub measures 1.5 x 2 and is issued as No. 372; and the set list, 8.5 x 11, features 14 songs with Prince’s facsimile handwriting crossing out two songs and swapping their order; this setlist copy was originally presented by Prince to George Clinton, who was a guest performer with Prince that night for two songs. In overall very good to fine condition, with heavy wear to the matchbook. From the collection of an early Prince insider.
