Brilliant pairing of oversized matte-finish 7.5 x 11.5 portrait photos of King George V and Mary of Teck by the photography studio of William & Daniel Downey, depicting the royal couple individually in attractive three-quarter length poses, affixed to their original 12 x 17.5 studio mounts, which are signed neatly in the lower margin in fountain pen by the respective royal subject: “George R. I., 1926” and “Mary R., 1926.” Both mounts are topped with embossed royal crests. In overall fine condition, with light silvering to the edges of the images.
