Rare custom-bound book with gilt-stamped title on the spine, "Official Pictures: Xth Olympiad, Los Angeles, 1932," evidently created for distribution to officials, media, and the press. The leatherbound volume measures 12.5 x 10.5, and contains 115 original silver gelatin press photos portraying the historic Olympiad, with views of the grounds, events, athletes, and officials. A ten-page typed guide to the photos is loosely inserted in the front, and each image is captioned below. In good to very good condition, with weak joints, splits to spine leather and chipping at spine's head, and worn corners.
