Remarkable archive of 62 original color glossy 4 x 6 Kodak photographs of outfits and costumes created for Prince, Mayte, and members of the New Power Generation, taken by an employee of Paisley Park's wardrobe department for Prince's approval. These amazing and unique images focus on designs developed for Prince, and the outfits are often modeled on mannequins stenciled with his name. Among these are a cropped 'Love Symbol' gold medallion coat, a white jacket with an ornate gold metal collar, a yellow 'Love Symbol' jacket, a black one-piece 'Love Symbol' jumpsuit, a unique cropped blouse with hand symbols, a shimmering yellow wide-lapeled jacket, a white suit with Eiffel Tower designs on the legs, a golden breastplate necklace, an "Exodus Has Begun" golden belt, a blue 'cloud' shirt, some unique newspaper patchwork tops, a 'Barbarella' dress, and several other unique styles. Additionally includes an original Polaroid of a 'shattered mirror' suit, eight smaller color images of Prince and his band members, and two 8 x 10 black-and-white photos of Prince and his band. In overall fine condition. A unique and fantastic chronicle of Prince's stylish stagewear.
